Ways To Kill and Defend Yourself

Posted in How To Fight by Caine

Kill or get killed. That is your only options when being physically attacked. If you don’t want to be just beaten and possibly get killed by someone, you need to learn how to defend yourself and discover some fighting ability.

We all love our precious family and we want to protect them from unexpected situations especially when their safety is in jeopardy. Are you taking time to learn how to defend yourself and identify ways to kill someone? If so, do you really think those tactics are effective enough to defend your loved ones when someone intents to hurt them? Training for a real life protection is not about just how to punch. We are not there for a boxing event!

Fighting and Self Defense TrainingWhen looking for the best combat training resources I came across a site which has fighting manuals that were used by the top real fighters and best military forces around the world. I never thought that these valuable manuals will be right at my fingertips. The fighting books consist of several training guides by the US Marine Corp., SEALS, US Army, and also the Canadian Army. Have you ever imagined how it is to train just like the best armed forces of the world? Well, I don’t have to imagine it anymore because I can actually experience it and learn the best fighting skills that I would never learn from a common self defense training sessions. Guided by these real fighting manuals is like being protected by those elite and best defenders of the world.

Reading these crucial real fighting manuals taught me several valuable combat and self defense skills that will protect me from a potentially dangerous situation effectively. But I also know that these techniques should only be used during self defense when all we’ve got to do is to fight or flight. And I must remind you that by not attacking is actually defending yourself!

Posted in How To Fight by Caine

First the author teaches basic sword movements: thrusts, slices etc. Although she keeps it fun, she draws on her years of martial arts training to teach the true movements that combine balance, focus and precised muscle control. Then the author explains the benefits of each movement and her sword fighting program as a whole. In part three of the book she brings it all together showing how to string movements together into a heart-pounding, full-throttle workout.

20 Ways to Improve your Grappling Skills off the Mats – (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Submission Wrestling & Other Grappling Sports)

Posted in Jiu Jitsu by Caine

Like most people who practice the art of submission wrestling, I try to spend as much time as possible on the mat. And when I’m not on the mat, I think about grappling entirely too much. Yet, sometimes, the only thing I can do is think about grappling because I have other responsibilities clamoring for my attention.

Since I have grappled for nearly a decade, I have had to come up with ways to insure that gaps in training don’t derail my hard earned gains. As a consequence, I have developed numerous strategies. Those strategies are what this book is about. “20 Ways to Improve your Grappling Skills off the Mat” will share with you how you can increase your grappling abilities when you can’t make it to class.

It discusses mindsets and approaches and it is designed to help you become a better grappler when no one is looking. The ideas provided in this book will give you an edge when it comes to training. — Following a few of the suggestions will take your game to the next level.

Imagine if you used all of them.

“20 Ways” also contains quotes from grappling and MMA veterans. It explores:

-How to be 8 steps ahead of your opponent
-The real deal with heavy bags and grappling
-What’s up with grappling dummies?
-Ways to use visualization that are never discussed
-Why solo drills matter
-How a few simple words can change your game
-How Claude van Damme can improve your grappling
-Why maps are important in submission wrestling
-How being a bookworm is good for grapplers
-How you can improve without lifting a muscle; and
-Ideas that will revolutionize your game and make you a tapping machine

17,000 words

***Bonus Excerpts from***

“M.U.S.C.L.E. – The Cheatin’ Security Guard
“A Vampire on the Mat” (A BJJ Novella)
